Garmin GPS Clinic - Saturday, August 7, 2010
Join us for a training clinic on using the Garmin 430(W) and 530(W) GPS navigators. If you use the Direct To button for everything, this clinic is for you.
Saturday morning from 8am til noon, Paul Nation will be conducting training on how to really maximize your understanding and use of the Garmin 430/530 series. Whether you're a Private pilot, Commercial pilot, Instrument-rated or not, you'll gain some new knowledge about using the Garmin units in your flights.

N2842Y
is a very nicely equipped Arrow with a Garmin 530, auto pilot, and panel
dock for your Garmin 396 or 497. With the nice leather interior,
it makes a great traveling aircraft as well as a trainer.
A complex endorsement typically takes about 10 hours. This saves you $100 on that training.
If a Commercial rating is in your future, you will need 10 hours training in a complex aircraft. Earning the endorsement will allow you to check off that requirement from the Commercial requirements list.

This excellent course will teach you about becoming a Private Pilot as well as prepare you for the Private Pilot Oral and Written exams. The highly-regarded Jeppesen Guided Flight Discovery syllabus is used in this course. Tuition and all required materials cost is $425. Whether you have started your flight training or want to check out ground school to see what it's all about, this course is for you.
Upon passing this course, you will earn the endorsement required to take the FAA Knowledge Exam and be on your way to becoming a Private Pilot!

FAA Testing
Executive
Flight Center is an Authorized CATS Testing Center. Testing
is available to walkins 7 days a week from 8am until 8pm. The cost
of each exam is $150. Other times available by appointment.

Note that Executive Flight Center is a CATS facility that is certified to administer the Mechanic Inspection Authorization exam.
Our on-site examiner, Clyde Shelton, is available 7 days a week when you are ready to schedule that checkride. Schedule that appointment with him by phone at 256.829.0642 or drop by his office in our facility.
